Less confidence --> fewer times he'll approach women --> fewer dates Which leads to less self-confidence. He needs to break out of his cycle is my guess. Find ways to be happy about who he is whether he's currently hittin it or not. Either way, you shouldn't change your behavior or who you hang with to suit him. It's his issue - not yours.

Yes that is exactly how I feel. He liked the girl I like now at first, and when I got her, he felt hurt. And now he's telling me I have to choose him or the new girl. I want to help him because he's a close friend, but I'm tired to this happening all the time. I hope he can find a woman to make him happy.

that's pretty manipulative. I'm guessing he doesn't have a lot of friends and probably hangs out with the same people at the same places pretty regularly. He needs to branch out. Kinda sad. You can't really help him, either, I don't think. It's up to him to change on his own and realize what's going on.

Yep I have a lot of friends that I can hang out with. He doesn't have that many friends. And I'm happy with the new girl, and want to stay with her. I hope he can figure this out for himself.
