I think you'd have better luck if you didn't think of age first... I mean, if a guy approached me and said, "Wow, I'm interested in you because you're so old!" that's not going to get him very far, if you see what I mean. I'd rather he felt attracted to my personality, my accomplishments, my wit, my mind... something like that. Anyone can be old, after all, but only I can be me. Older women hang out in all sorts of places... the gym, the library, concert halls, the theater, on sports teams (go play co-ed softball or soccer!), various workplaces... just be open, and see what turns up. You also have to understand, though, that the attraction doesn't always go both ways. I had a lover once who was 10 years younger, and yes, I did think the age difference was a bit of a problem. I don't think I'd do that again, not unless the guy were truly exceptional.

Applause I really appreciate this reply. I mean as someone who is 40 something I agree whole heartedly with what was said here. It is flattering to have some young thing come up to you and lay a complement on you but for it to be more than that he would have to have some maturity and personality to back it up.

You haven't mentioned anything other than age yet that would interest you... what is it about a milf exactly that interests you? Is is the "mother" aspect?

You may be responding to people who are more settled in their careers and life choices, and in particular (since you mention that they've already had children), parenthood and (perhaps?) marriage. Younger women can be more focused on answering some of those questions, if you see what I mean. Ironiy, younger men and older women can both feel a sort of indifference or downright disinterest in getting married and having children, since the men aren't quite ready and the women have already been there. Could that be part of it? (I'm totally guessing here, though.)

For me, the same things that I'd look for in an older guy: intelligence, talent, accomplishments, a sense of humor, kindness, stability AND flexibility, an enduring sense of optimism, good health, playfulness, interest in the arts, a love of travel, and similar social and political values. I do appreciate a bi- or multilingual person as well, and if he can sing, that's nice too.
